Following the recent extension of the site back to the mid-1980s, we have now completed a further extension back to the 1978/79 season!
At that time, the average price of a top-flight programme in England was just 20p, with an average programme size of just over 20 pages. Very different to the programmes of today! We also start to see examples of the newspaper-style issues that clubs such as Derby used in the 1970s, as well as several programmes that incorporated additional content from supplements in their centre-pages.
The menu on the left-hand side of the site contains links to each additional season that we have now published, but you can also click the links below to explore further.
We aim to keep adding more seasons to the site, as we obtain the various programmes, so watch this space for announcements as we go further back into the 1970s!
