Welcome to Premier Progs and thank you for visiting my site!

I have put this site together as a way of reviewing football programmes down the years. I have been collecting programmes since my father took me to my first match in the spring of 1986 – Northampton Town v Torquay United in case you were wondering!

Over the years my collecting interests have often changed, but I’ve always had an interest in top flight and ‘big match’ programmes. The main focus of this site is on programmes produced by Premier League clubs since the creation of the league in 1992.

Don’t worry – I’m not one of those fans who think that football started in 1992. The advent of the Premier League just offers a suitable starting point for the site. Maybe in the future I will expand the site to include seasons prior to 1992.

On the sidebar menu you will find links to each season of the Premier League. I will be posting information on each of these pages about each Premier League club’s programme for that season.

Most of the pages will not yet have anything in the way of content. I will be building up my collection bit by bit and sharing my thoughts on the programmes as I collect them. My aim is to review all the programmes produced for each season, giving each item a rating, and awarding the best the ‘Programme of the Season’ award.
